Support Policy

The Australian Research Council Nanotechnology Network (ARCNN), ARC Australian Research Network for Advanced Materials (ARNAM), and the IEEE Magnetic Society have generously agreed to provide support for students and early career researchers. The support includes symposium fee rebate and travel grants.

Students presenting a contributed poster must submit an application stating their citizenship, affiliation, and personal details. The application must be accompanied by a copy of the abstract and a recommendation letter from their supervisor or the head of the department certifying their student status. Please use the request of support form for students.

Early career researchers (researchers who are within 5 years of completion of a PhD) must submit an application stating their citizenship and personal data. Please use the request of support form for early career researchers .

The deadline for support application in either category is July 30, 2007. Applicants will be notified about the outcome before August 30, 2007.

All support requests should be submitted through our system. You will be automatically notified by email that your request for support has been submitted.
After some delay you will receive an email from the conference coordinator, that your request has been successfully downloaded and checked. If you do not receive this email within one day please contact the conference coordinator. Please attach a copy of the automatic email with your submission details to your message.
