Visa Requirements

To enter Australia you will need to apply for either a visa or an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) and carry a valid passport. The list of countries whose citizens are eligible for ETA you can find at http://www.eta.immi.gov.au .

If your country is not inscribed in ETA system you should contact the Australian Embassy, Consulate or Office of Tourism in your home country as soon as possible to determine your particular visa requirements. Participants requiring visas must initiate the application process a number of months in advance of their departure date.

If you need a personal letter of invitation to attend the conference, contact the organizing committee (mml@cyllene.uwa.edu.au). A form for the request of official invitation is available on the symposium website. Please note that such an invitation letter does not imply any obligation, financial or otherwise, support by the IEEE MML'07.  Be sure you provide your complete mailing address so that a signed letter of invitation can then be sent to you via a standard mail service since only an original copy (not faxed or e-mail version) will be accepted with your visa application. The MML Symposium organizing committee cannot contact or inferfere with any Australian Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf.
